Sandra Oh’s Adorable ‘Saturday Night Live’ Teaser Is So Sandra Oh

Saturday night’s about to be lit.  “Killing Eve” star Sandra Oh will be hosting “Saturday Night Live” for the first time this weekend and they’ve released a teaser for the upcoming show: While the actress has quite a few hilarious quips in the video, “I think I just peed a little” has to be the winner.   Oh is the third Asian woman to host the program since the show premiered more than four decades ago, with Lucy Liu and Awkwafina being the other two.  People are clearly pumped to see Oh helm SNL.  Can’t wait!!!! You know every single Korean mom will now say “why can’t you host SNL like her?!?” You’ve upped the bar to 11 for the ultra competitive Korean parent!!! 😂💕 — Susan Lee (@nykimchi) March 27, 2019

Khloe Kardashian Breaks Down In ‘KUWTK’ Trailer: ‘My Family Is Ruined’

All is certainly not well in Calabasas for America’s most extra family in the trailer for the new season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Given that the past few months have been particularly eventful, even by KarJenner standards (Tristan! Khloe! Jordan! Jada!), the upcoming 16th season of the family’s reality show has a crazy dramatic trailer, which arrived on Kim Kardashian’s Instagram on Wednesday.  Much of the discord in the trailer appears to surround the cheating scandal involving Khloe Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, who made moves on longtime family friend Jordyn Woods.  “It just sucks that it has to be so public. I’m not just a TV show,” a weepy Khloe says in the trailer. “This is my life.”  While Khloe says the NBA star might love her, she’s now certain he has “n...

Taco Bell And Weed Smoke Inspired Harmony Korine’s Surprisingly Sweet ‘The Beach Bum’

Harmony Korine’s films about misfits, lowlives and party animals might make him seem a bit hard-edged. But in person, the 46-year-old director is all smiles, a receptive listener game to fall down any conversational tangent that arises. Taco Bell, slime, houseboats, electronic poker, that easy ocean breeze: They all define his day-to-day routine in Miami, where Korine maintains a freewheeling lifestyle removed from politics, popular media and general structure.  In between cheap burritos and surfing excursions, he found time to make “The Beach Bum,” arguably his most commercial project yet. Granted, that’s not saying much for the guy who wrote the cult smash “Kids” and directed oddities like “Gummo,” “Mister Lonely,” “Trash Humpers” and “Spring Breakers.” “The Beach Bum” is a raucous whirl...

Kate Beckinsale Says Dating Pete Davidson Is Worth The ‘Shocking’ Response

Kate Beckinsale must really, really like Pete Davidson.  The actress has mostly reserved commenting about their budding romance for devastating Instagram clap-backs, but now she’s opening up about why being with the “Saturday Night Live” star is worth the prying eyes.  “I’m surprised by the interest [in my dating life],” Beckinsale told The Los Angeles Times in an interview published Tuesday. “I’ve never been in this position before — never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief. It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to.” “I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it,” she continued without referring to Davidson by name. “If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not.” Beckinsale, 45, and Davidson, 25,...

Mandy Moore Got A Hollywood Star, But We Got ‘A Walk To Remember’ Reunion

Mandy Moore celebrated her brand new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame alongside her “A Walk to Remember” co-star Shane West and we can’t stop crying. On Monday, West honored the 34-year-old, presenting her with the star and some sweet sentiments. The 40-year-old gave Moore a photo of the two of them on the “A Walk To Remember” set and recounted how the pair were complete opposites when they met.  Albert L. Ortega via Getty Images “I was busy wearing ill-advised clothes and having dubious hair choices and wearing eyeliner in my garage punk band or whatever, whatever that was. And you were killing it on the pop star scene,” said West. “I was trying to get you to listen to the Clash and the Ramones. You were not interested but you were very sweet about it. You stuck to your Fleetwood Mac, a...

Emily Ratajkowski Defends Her Husband’s Decision To Not Pay Rent

The New York Post reported earlier this month that producer Sebastian Bear-McClard, who is married to Emily Ratajkowski, is refusing to pay rent on his apartment in New York City because of a loft law.  Ratajkowski defended her husband’s decision to skip out on the monthly $4,900 payments on Twitter Monday. She also clarified that her husband is 38, not 31, as previous reports stated.  “He’s an independent movie producer so people thinking he’s rich is real nice but not based in fact,” the model and actress wrote. “He was raised in the neighborhood he lives in now, both of his parents are artists who were priced out of their homes in downtown New York.”  The 27-year-old said that she moved in with Bear-McClard last year and that she’s “proud” of the stance he’s taken.  “I’m proud he’s figh...

This TV Sitcom Broke New Ground By Portraying A Same-Sex Wedding In 1991

Some 24 years before marriage equality became the law of the land in the U.S., the Fox sitcom “Roc” broke new ground by presenting a gay wedding on mainstream television. The series, which aired from 1991 to 1994, starred Charles Dutton as Charles “Roc” Emerson, a Baltimore garbage collector and family man, and Ella Joyce as his wife Eleanor, a nurse. A season 1 episode titled “Can’t Help Loving That Man” introduced audiences to Roc’s gay uncle Russell (played by Richard Roundtree), who surprised his family members when he revealed plans to tie the knot with his male partner, Chris (Stephen Poletti). In what’s believed to have been a network television first, the 1991 episode concluded with the mixed-race couple’s wedding ― which, since same-sex marriage was still years away from being leg...

Prosecutor Who Dropped Charges Against Jussie Smollett Believes He’s Guilty

An Illinois prosecutor said he believes Jussie Smollett is guilty of staging a racist and homophobic attack against himself despite his decision to drop the charges against the “Empire” actor on Tuesday. “I do not believe he is innocent,” First Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney Joseph Magats told CBS News on Tuesday afternoon after Smollett’s legal team announced Magats’ office had dismissed the charges. Asked if he believes Smollett is guilty, Magats said “yes.” He confirmed that dropping the charges, which included 16 felony counts of staging the January attack and lying to officials, neither “vindicates” nor “exonerates” Smollett. “Our priority is violent crimes and the drivers of violence. Jussie Smollett is neither one of those,” Magats told CBS News when asked why his office wou...

She realized Beyoncé was still in the house and asked her to “Come on down!” Good to see a couple of generational music legends celebrate together.

Disability Representation Is Seriously Lacking In TV And Movies: Report

People with disabilities are sorely lacking in representation both on screen and behind the camera, according to a new report from the Ford Foundation. The “Road Map for Inclusion” report, released Wednesday, details how few disabled people are seen in movies and on TV and calls for proportional representation going forward. That means there should be 1 in 4 people “both in front of and behind the camera” with disabilities ― which would match the 1 in 4 adults in the U.S. who live with a disability, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. “People need to see themselves. People with disabilities, like any other group ― when you don’t see yourself, you feel invisible,” said Judith Heumann, a Ford Foundation senior fellow and lead author of the report. Heumann, who had po...

Cardi B’s Explanation For Drugging And Robbing Men Only Makes It Worse

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper responded to criticism of a newly resurfaced, years-old Instagram Live clip, in which she made the admission, with a lengthy statement that she shared to Twitter on Tuesday: The Grammy-winner defended her past actions as being something she felt she “needed to do to make a living.” She’d never claimed “to be perfect” and “made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options,” she wrote, adding that “I have a past that I can’t change we all do.” Cardi B’s reasoning, however, was not received well by the majority of people on Twitter where the #SurvivingCardiB hashtag continued to trend: I really don’t want to pull the gender card here but if it were a male artiste who said this…he would most DEFINITELY be cancelled by social sentiment. W...

Trevor Noah Calls Out Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson And Laura Ingraham: You ‘Don’t Get To Say S**t!’

Trevor Noah is calling out Fox News hosts Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham for seeking “revenge” now that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation is over.  In his four-page summary of the Mueller report, Attorney General William Barr said the probe found no evidence of collusion between Russia and President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.  Noah then played clips of the Fox News hosts reacting to the news, demanding that the people who pushed for the investigation be “punished” and accusing them of being “deeply unpatriotic.” In one clip, Hannity even claimed he would “hold every liar, every propagandist, every conspiracy theorist accountable.” “Whoa, whoa, Sean Hannity, pump the brakes. If you got rid of all the conspiracy theorists, propagandists and liars, Fox News wo...
