Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos’ Christmas Card Is A Merry Prank

The “Happy Holidays” greeting, posted Tuesday on Consuelos’ Instagram, features him posing with his fictional “Riverdale” family ― actresses Marisol Nichols, who plays his wife on the show, and Camila Mendes, who plays his daughter. “My poor wife has resorted to using my TV family as our holiday card,” Consuelos joked about Ripa. “Personally..I think it’s her best work.” Ripa, the host of “Live With Kelly and Ryan” and a guest actor on “Riverdale” as the mistress of Consuelos’ crime boss character Hiram Lodge, offered her own take on the pic. “Tired of fighting with the kids over the holiday card photo? Problem solved!” she wrote on her Insta. But then she urged viewers to swipe to the next image. Click to the next pic, and the real Ripa-Consuelos clan appears, including kids Michael, Lola...

‘Mary Poppins Returns’ Is A Spoonful Of Sugar, Both Familiar And Fresh

Remakes and sequels? Pshht. They’re old news in Hollywood. Today, it’s all about the requel, remake-sequel hybrids that borrow once-dormant franchises’ greatest hits and infuse them with enough fresh DNA so they seem shiny and new. “Jurassic World,” “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and “Creed” kick-started the trend in 2015, inaugurating characters who grabbed beloved predecessors’ torches and led the charge toward plots we’d more or less seen years earlier (and many times on TNT since). If the filmmaking is good enough (“Jurassic World,” this is where your relevance ends), we might manage to forget that blowing up the Death Star 2.0 greatly resembles blowing up the actual Death Star. Emphasis on “might.”  2018 unleashed a few requels of its own. The most obvious: “Halloween,” in which Micha...

Thomas Markle Slams Prince Harry In Salacious New Interview

Thomas Markle is trying to win back the attention and affection of his daughter Meghan Markle with a profanity-laced interview pointing out Prince Harry’s past mistakes and revealing she gave away weed as a wedding favor at her first nuptials to director Trevor Engelson.  In an extensive interview with The Mail on Sunday published over the weekend, Markle, a former Hollywood lighting director, talked about how he’s tried to reach his daughter, whom he reportedly hasn’t spoken to since the day after her royal wedding with Harry in May. “I’ve pleaded with her to pick up the phone. I wrote her a two-page letter and sent it by certified mail via her representative in Los Angeles,” he said. “I asked her why she was believing the lies. I also pointed out the Royals haven’t always been perfectly ...

SAG Awards 2019: ‘A Star Is Born’ And ‘Maisel’ Lead Film And TV Nominations

We’re far from the awards season shallow now … There are no tougher critics in Hollywood than actors themselves, so the Screen Actors Guild Awards, which exclusively honor performers in film and television over the past year, is a key stop during awards season.  The SAG Awards are often the most accurate portent of the Oscar season to come, as the voting bodies for both awards overlap significantly. (The Golden Globes, on the other hand, are like the wild-card sibling, with 90 or so journalists from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association determining the winners.)  The Globes nominations were announced last week, and the nominees for the 25th annual SAG Awards were revealed on Wednesday morning at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. “Crazy Rich Asians” star Awkwafina and “O...

‘Queer Eye’ Star Antoni Porowski Confirms New Boyfriend On Instagram

Antoni Porowski is officially off the market once again.  Netflix’s “Queer Eye” food and wine expert confirmed his relationship with interior designer Trace Lehnhoff on Instagram Tuesday with an oh-so-dapper photo of the two gents holding hands. The pair had been romantically linked in the press since September. Lehnhoff, who starred on the Bravo series “Flipping Out,” followed suit with a similar, albeit more laid-back, image of the couple overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  The Instagram confirmation was particularly fitting as the men are believed to have first met on the photo-sharing app. They made their red carpet debut Dec. 6 at GQ’s Men of the Year party in Los Angeles.  Stefanie Keenan via Getty Images Trace Lehnhoff (left) and Antoni Porowski attended GQ’s Men of the Year party...

Christian Bale Says Donald Trump Thought He Was Actually Bruce Wayne

Just how good of an actor is Christian Bale? Convincing enough that Donald Trump once requested a sit-down with the actor, convinced he really was his alter ego Bruce Wayne.  Scenes from 2012′s “The Dark Knight Rises,” the third movie in the Batman trilogy starring Bale as the caped crusader, were filmed at Trump Tower in New York City.  Trump, who ― let’s be honest ― likely sees much of himself in the Bruce Wayne character (the scion of a wealthy family, an impressive real estate portfolio, unchecked ego, etc.) requested a meeting with the star after the Trump Tower shoot, which Bale described as “quite entertaining.” “I met him, one time,” the actor told Variety at the Los Angeles premiere of his new film “Vice.” “We were filming on ‘Batman’ in Trump Tower and he said, ‘Come on up to the...

Lin-Manuel Miranda Releases ‘Hamilton’ Song That Was Cut From Musical

How’s this for an encore? Lin-Manuel Miranda just shared an unreleased song from “Hamilton” that was cut from his hit Broadway musical. The entertainer explained in a tweet Tuesday that “One Last Ride Reprise,” about George Washington’s death, was excised from Act II. He posted lyrics  and a SoundCloud link to the demo. Wouldn’t it be cool if the “Hamilton” creator could add “One Last Ride Reprise” back to the show? Seth Meyers Burns Almost Everything About The Holidays

It wasn’t exactly holiday cheer when “Late Night” host Seth Meyers fired up the burner on Tuesday night and blazed through a list of traditional favorites. Meyers didn’t spare sledding, “Home Alone” or even office holiday parties. But his hottest critique was aimed at the Bible story of Jesus’ birth. “Bethlehem innkeepers, where do you get off turning away a pregnant woman?” Meyers asked. “You’re lucky Yelp wasn’t around during the time of the Bible or you would have been savaged.” He also wasn’t happy that Mary and Joseph had to bunk in a stable. “Here is a tidbit of common decency: If you run an inn and a woman needs to give birth, maybe do better than the shack where your goats eat,” Meyers said. “It’s disgusting! And that’s coming from a guy whose wife gave birth in the lobby of a New ...

Sick Of Elf On A Shelf? Jimmy Kimmel Has A Way To Make Christmas Great Again.

Jimmy Kimmel said Tuesday that he has an “ongoing struggle with the elf in our shelf at home.” “If you don’t know what it is, this is a very sneaky way to get kids to behave,” Kimmel said. “The elf watches everything your child does and then goes to Santa and rats them out when they do bad things.” Kimmel said there’s a new holiday character “to counter that little narc, to help kids spin their bad deeds and hopefully make Christmas great again.” Yes, it’s Huckabee in a Tree. Check out the video above.

Trevor Noah Says He’s ‘Proud Of President Trump’ – Here’s Why

The White House meeting Tuesday of President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi went viral because of the fireworks over border wall funding that got captured by the television cameras. But Trevor Noah, host of “The Daily Show,” found it to be noteworthy for another reason.  Trump insisted that if Congress did not approve money to build a wall along the southern border of the United States, he would not approve financing to keep the federal government operating and would take the blame for shutting it down. “I don’t know if you realize how monumental this moment is,” Noah said. “Donald Trump just agreed to take blame for something. This is the same guy who keeps Mike Pence around just to blame farts on.” Noah...

Colbert Reveals The Not-So-Secret Word That Activates ‘Weird Grandpa’ Trump

The “Late Show” host played footage of cats fighting and said it was “one step up” from President Donald Trump’s bonkers White House meeting with Democratic leaders Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).  But he noticed there was one word in that conversation that seemed to activate the president.  Find out what it is in the clip above.
