Union Re-Imagines Vans’ Silhouettes in the Joint RBG Dot Collection Union worked in collaboration with skate label Vans on a new footwear selection entitled the ‘RBG Dot’ collection for the season. The capsule is comprised of two signature footwear models — the ‘Slip-On LX’ and the ‘Era LX.’ The original design takes on a repeating square-shaped design and the latest update replaces it with a variety of circles instead. The uppers are comprised of three different colors — black and white are featured on all the sneakers, with the options of either ‘Burnt Sienna’ or ‘Atlantic Deep’ as an added accent. The brand management firm said Monday in a regulatory filing that it has been contacted by the U.S Attorney’s Office in Manhattan regarding a probe. Iconix said the company “intends to cooperate fully” with the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Iconix added, “It is not possible to predict the outcome of these inquiries or their impact on the company, if any, at this time.” Iconix previously said it received a formal order of investigation from the staff of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in December 2015. This will be the first time that Izzue’s men’s and women’s pieces will be showcased on a London runway. “London has always been a source of inspiration for Izzue. The 2019 Pirelli calendar has us lost in a beautiful dream. Scottish photographer Albert Watson shot this year’s edition, titled “Dreaming,” this April in Miami and New York. It stars fashion designer Alexander Wang, models Gigi Hadid and Laetitia Casta, actress Julia Garner and ballet dancers Misty Copeland, Sergei Polunin and Calvin Royal III. “When I approached this project, I wanted to do it in a way that was different from other photographers, and I wondered what the best way would be,” Watson said in a press release.
