No One Has Been More Eviscerated By Meghan McCain Than Denise, Who Was At Her Wedding

When conservative writer Denise McAllister critiqued Meghan McCain on Twitter, “The View” co-host tweeted back a simple yet biting comment: “you were at my wedding Denise….” Thus, the memes were born. On Monday, McAllister tweeted a link to an article titled “Meghan McCain Says She’s Having ‘Existential Crisis’; Admits Media Will ‘Get Trump Re-Elected.’” Accompanying the link was a question and some mudslinging: “Can someone explain to me the purpose of The View? It seems to me to be a roundtable of delusional mental midgets ricocheting ignorance and lack of emotional regulation.” Can someone explain to me the purpose of The View? It seems to me to be a roundtable of delusional mental midgets ricocheting ignorance and lack of emotional regulation. https://t.co/VMT4LtI1Ir via @ILMForg...

Khloe Kardashian’s ‘Cute’ Tweet To A Fan Is Leaving Followers Divided

A tweet from a fan quickly turned into a mess for Khloe Kardashian after the Good American clothing designer responded to a follower’s need to work overtime to afford a pair of jeans from Kardashian’s denim line.  “So I realized I have to work 20 hours in order to afford @khloekardashian jeans…and I’m in love with them…catch me picking up extra shifts,” the fan tweeted on March 15.  The reality star responded the next day, writing, “Awwwwww this is so cute!!!! I’m so happy you enjoy them.”  One of the most-liked Twitter responses in the conversation called out Kardashian for referring to overtime hours as “cute.” Awwwwww this is so cute!!!! I’m so happy you enjoy them — Khloé (@khloekardashian) March 16, 2019 “Not to sound like a hater but this actually upsets me!! someone had ...

Twitter Critics Mercilessly Mock Kid Rock And His Flag Pants Posing With Trump

Kid Rock’s gleeful pose with Donald Trump on the links at Mar-a-Lago didn’t go over very well on Twitter. Fans mocked Rock’s goofy flag pants and his choice of golf partners. Some wondered what Trump was doing playing golf Saturday in the middle of his declared “national emergency” at the southern border. Others were perplexed that Trump has a conniption fit when football players take a knee during the national anthem to protest racial injustice, but apparently found those pants perfectly okay. Some, like actress Roseanna Arquette, got downright snarky about Rock’s post being a desperate bid for attention. Another great day on the links! Thank you to POTUS for having me and to EVERYONE at Trump International for being so wonderful. What a great man, so down to earth and so fun to be with!!...

Oh No, Diana Ross Is Defending Michael Jackson Now

Diana Ross, a longtime pal of Michael Jackson’s, decided Saturday was the day to come to his defense amid new sexual abuse claims against the late pop star. “This is what’s on my heart this morning,” Ross tweeted. “I believe and trust that Michael Jackson was and is A [sic] magnificent incredible force to me and to many others. STOP IN THE NAME OF LOVE.” A devastating HBO documentary released earlier this month, “Leaving Neverland,” put forth detailed claims from two men who say Jackson molested them over a span of years when they were children and he was much older. The documentary is just the latest in a long history of rumors and lawsuits alleging similar abuse. This is what’s on my heart this morning. I believe and trust that Michael Jackson was and is A magnificent incredible force to...

No, Tom Ford Never Called Melania Trump A ‘Glorified Escort’

A fake quote about first lady Melania Trump attributed to designer Tom Ford went viral on Tuesday. In a now-deleted tweet, user fras99 wrote that the fashion giant “refuses to dress Melania Trump: ‘I have no interest in dressing a glorified escort who steals speeches and has bad taste in men.’”  Fras99 did not immediately respond to a request for comment on why the user posted the tweet, but a spokeswoman for Ford quashed the sentiment. “This is an absolutely fabricated and completely fake quote attributed to Mr. Ford that has somehow gone viral. Mr. Ford did not make this statement; it is completely false,” said the spokeswoman in a statement to HuffPost. However, before Ford could weigh in, the tweet and his name went viral. Supporters of both the designer and FLOTUS tweeted up a storm. ...

Jim Carrey’s Grief Over New Zealand Turns To Anger Against Trump

Actor Jim Carrey, who often uses his visual artwork for advocacy, posted a new image on Twitter Sunday that expresses outrage at President Donald Trump in the wake of the mosque killings in Christchurch, New Zealand. Carrey’s new artwork shows Trump’s head, with an angry, soulless expression and a Nazi swastika on the forehead, as a blazing asteroid streaking toward Earth.  “Innocent people are now being slaughtered, families ruined and childrens’ lives destroyed. All in his name. If the Craven Republican Senate allows this vile miscreant to continue encouraging devisiveness, the ‘Trump Presidency’ will become an EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENT,” Carrey wrote in the caption.   The accused New Zealand killer posted an 87-page manifesto just before the shootings at two mosques that killed at least 50...

This ‘Bake Off’ Meme Is Highly Relatable To Anyone Who Has Ever Failed

A fail on a reality show has turned into a win for the internet. James Acaster, a British comedian featured on “The Great Celebrity Bake Off” currently airing in the U.K., baked up some pretty sad flapjacks during a technical challenge earlier this week. Acaster, 34, hilariously explained to the judges how everything went south when he presented his “cherry bakewell” flapjack flop to the judges. “I started making it. Had a breakdown. Bon appétit!” he said (above). The comedian’s sharp-witted remarks have resonated with many on Twitter, and the disastrous moment when he presented his stew-like flapjacks has turned into a meme that perfectly summarizes how it feels to attempt something and completely botch it. Acaster himself has even gotten in on the joke in a very meta way. Now excuse us w...

‘The Bachelor’ Finale Watchers Ticked That Colton Underwood Won’t Spill On Bed Romp

“The Bachelor” concluded Tuesday with Colton Underwood persuading a hesitant Cassie Randolph to pursue a relationship with him, but tabling a rush to an engagement ― the expected endgame for the dating reality show. However, the two did end up in bed on their fantasy suite date, leaving some fans to wonder if Underwood had lost his much-hyped virginity. And they’re still wondering. “A gentleman never kisses and tells,” Underwood told the camera on the show. “But I do want you to know that I’m very happy and you can use your imagination.” Nah, that didn’t do it for some, who tweeted furiously about the anticlimactic non-reveal. Producer: Care to tell what happened? Colton: A gentleman never kisses and tells Narrator: Colton did not, in fact, get laid #TheBachelor — Chelsea Allyn (@chelseall...

Rob Lowe Deletes Tweet About ‘Honest Sons’ Amid College Admissions Scandal

Actor Rob Lowe chimed in on the college admissions fraud scandal involving fellow actors Lori Loughlin of “Full House” and Felicity Huffman of “Desperate Housewives.” But he apparently deleted his tweet, suggesting he didn’t think the message came off as he wanted.  “Very proud of my honest, hardworking sons,” Lowe wrote in a retweet of comments from his son, John, who noted how hard he worked to get into Stanford, even if he did have the means to afford tutoring and test prep programs. John Lowe wrote that he was disgusted that deserving students could lose out to cheating in attending a dream school. He shared a photo of his graduation day with his actor dad and brother Matthew, a Duke grad, writing: “Still proud of this achievement. Happy for everyone out there who earned their accompli...

Chrissy Teigen Loses And Finds Her New Hamster In Rodent Drama

She bought a new hamster for daughter Luna named Peanut Butter, cheekily adding that husband John Legend “is not thrilled, which makes me love her more.” Then the model shared her rodent adventures in an amusing string of tweets. She posted a clip of Peanut Butter chewing on a metal bar. She fretted over the seller’s advice on feeding and holding her. She noted that “it’s very confusing, being a hamster mom” and welcomed tips. She also asked people to “stop yelling at me” and reassured them that Peanut Butter had a swanky habitat. In perhaps the biggest development, she reported that Peanut Butter had escaped. Hours later, thankfully, she declared, “found her!” Never a dull moment in the Teigen-Legend household. Check out her hamster odyssey below: Luna and I bought a hamster today. Her na...

Chris Evans Ignites Celeb Civil War By Incorrectly Ranking His Favorite Chips

There’s an issue that’s divided Twitter almost as much as anything in politics this week, with Chris Evans causing people to choose sides in a way that hasn’t been seen since “Captain America: Civil War.” It started, innocently enough, with a video from comic Kevin Fredericks featuring a debate about the proper ranking of chips in a variety pack: The clip rapidly went viral, dividing tweeters along chip allegiance lines, leading to Evans replying with his own his own rankings:  The correct answer is:1. Cool ranch2. Cheetos3. Nacho cheese Doritos 4. Fritos5. BBQ lays6. Original lays I will not be taking questions. https://t.co/keSJ23IhRN — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) March 11, 2019 Other celebs and observers also found themselves choosing sides ― à la Captain America and Iron Man ― and the gr...

Dictionary.com Weighs In On Kylie Jenner’s ‘Self-Made’ Billionaire Label Again

The official Twitter account for Dictionary.com has once again challenged reports that describe Kylie Jenner as a “self-made” billionaire. The site tweeted a response to a Forbes report published Tuesday that declared Jenner, 21, the “youngest self-made billionaire ever.” “Haven’t we gone over this?” Dictionary.com’s Twitter account wrote, including its definition of “self-made.” “Self-made: Having succeeded in life unaided.” Haven’t we gone over this? Self-made: Having succeeded in life unaided.https://t.co/g0ZHDSkVfu https://t.co/3O48zKsInN — Dictionary.com (@Dictionarycom) March 5, 2019 The tweet also included a link to its full definition of “self-made,” which included “made by oneself.”  Dictionary.com has previously challenged Forbes on its characterization of Jenner, who repor...
