Meghan Markle stopped by one of her new patronages, Mayhew, an international animal welfare charity, on Wednesday and got paid an interesting compliment.  “You’re a fat lady!” one of the women said, motioning to the Duchess of Sussex’s stomach. Others on Twitter heard “fat baby.”  “I’ll take it!” the former “Suits” star said, laughing along with the rest of the people in the room.   “You’re a fat lady!” Meghan has a great response to one bold woman’s comment on her growing baby bump on a visit to an animal welfare charity Read more: https://t.co/7yHYYFndgz pic.twitter.com/JFQhQpk0Y5 — ITV News (@itvnews) January 16, 2019 Do my ears deceive me? Sandra Oh Hung Out With The ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Cast At The Critics’ Choice Awards

Sandra Oh has been taking the 2019 awards season by storm, sending social media into a tizzy with her most recent antics at the 24th annual Critics’ Choice Awards. On Sunday, the “Killing Eve” actress took home the award for Best Actress in a Drama Series with an impassioned speech singling out co-star Jodie Comer, calling her “my obsession, my other half.” But perhaps the most tweetable moment of the night happened when she ran over to the cast of “Crazy Rich Asians” and a love-fest ensued: The moment has gone viral several times over, with many people remarking how lovely a moment it was for the Asian community ― including actress Ming Na Wen, aka the voice of Fa Mulan in Disney’s “Mulan.”  another day, another win for QUEEN SANDRA OH for lead actress at the critics choice awards, where ...

Logan Paul Says He Plans To ‘Go Gay’ For A Month, But Twitter Users Aren’t Amused

Controversial internet celebrity Logan Paul is once again under fire after he said one of his New Year’s resolutions is to “go gay” for a month. The 23-year-old made the dubious claim earlier this week on his “Impaulsive” podcast, after he and co-host Mike Majlak explained they are vegan and sober for the month of January. Paul then declared they would attempt “male-only March” and ”go gay for just one month.” “And then swing … go back,” Majlak added. The suggestion may have been a joke, but many Twitter users weren’t laughing, since it implied that being gay was just a choice ― or worse, an insensitive punchline for bros. The problem with Logan Paul saying he’s going to go gay for a month, is what he’s teaching his very young and impressionable audience, that being gay is a choice or just...

Sophie Turner Calls Out ‘Twat’ Piers Morgan For Mental Health Comments

Sophie Turner made a valid point about mental health ― and its stigmas ― while shutting down Piers Morgan on Twitter.  Morgan caught the “Game of Thrones” actresses’ attention Wednesday after he tweeted out comments made by Beverley Callard, an English actress. Callard spoke to Best Magazine about her own battle with depression ― and how celebrities view the stigma of mental health issues.  “Real mental illness is very dark and it takes a great deal of strength to ask for help,” she said. “I think we are now definitely chipping away at the stigma. But we have to be careful mental illness doesn’t become like a Gucci handbag.”  Callard added: “There is a danger it can become ‘fashionable.’”  Morgan tweeted out a link to the article, writing, “She’ll be hammered for saying this, but it’s 100%...

‘Green Book’ Screenwriter’s Resurfaced Anti-Muslim Tweet Sparks Backlash

A “Green Book” screenwriter has deleted his Twitter account after facing backlash for a resurfaced 2015 tweet that echoed an anti-Muslim conspiracy theory touted by then-presidential candidate Donald Trump.  Nick Vallelonga, who along with writers Peter Farrelly and Brian Currie won a Golden Globe on Sunday for best original screenplay, tweeted in November 2015 that Trump was “100% correct” when he said that “Muslims in Jersey City” had been seen on television cheering the 9/11 attacks. Vallelonga was referring to an assertion made by Trump that “people over in New Jersey … a heavy Arab population” had celebrated the fall of the twin towers. There is no evidence that this ever happened. On Wednesday, “La La Land” producer Jordan Horowitz lambasted Vallelonga’s tweet as “disgusting” and poi...

John Legend Defends His R. Kelly Criticism After Photo With Weinstein Surfaces

Though he defended R. Kelly’s accusers in Lifetime’s new docuseries on the R&B artist’s alleged abuse, John Legend is now faced with defending himself. Earlier this week, a Twitter user shared an old photo of Legend with disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, asking for an explanation and adding, “I dont remember you publicly denouncing this man!!!” In response, Legend said the image was taken well in advance of news of the Weinstein allegations for which the producer will be facing trial. “I took a photo with and worked with Harvey on several occasions before his abuse was known to me and the rest of the world,” Legend tweeted Monday night. “Since his being exposed, his company and career have rightfully been destroyed and he’s been indicted. Sounds like something that should happen ...

Beyoncé Shops At Target Just Like Us, And The Internet Needs A Moment To Recover

Partner, lemme discount you, Target you …  Every now and again, Beyoncé does something to remind us that she’s not actually a sky-parting, high-note-hitting deity walking among us mere mortals. Think about that time she took an onstage tumble, thought she was taking a selfie when it was actually a video or sneezed midconcert (on the beat, and the beat got sicker, by the way). Well, it has happened again after a shopper spotted Queen Bey at a Target in Los Angeles on Monday, walking down what appears to be the baby aisle wearing an orange jumpsuit, high heels and cat’s-eye sunglasses. Beyoncé seen at @Target in LA today — Jan. 7th. pic.twitter.com/wpDBgFAxit — BEYONCÉ LEGION (@BeyLegion) January 7, 2019 Given how the “Everything Is Love” singer is now a mother of three — daughter Blue...

Macaulay Culkin Hilariously Trolls Brother Kieran Culkin At The 2019 Golden Globes

Macaulay Culkin wasn’t at the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, but he definitely made his presence known on Twitter.  The “Home Alone” star expertly trolled his brother, Kieran, who was nominated for Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for TV, for his role in the HBO show “Succession.”  Culkin, 38, pretended to act surprised that his younger brother attended the awards show, and later called him “so handsome” on the red carpet.  Oh shit! My brother is at the Golden Globes?! That is so cool! #GoldenGlobes — Macaulay Culkin (@IncredibleCulk) January 6, 2019 My brother looks so handsome at the #GoldenGlobes pic.twitter.com/drWsLlslLh — Macaulay Culkin (@IncredibleCulk) January 7, 2019 Culkin poked fun at catching Kieran on television, barely visible in th...

Drake Kisses, Caresses 17-Year-Old Fan Onstage In Newly Surfaced Video

A disturbing video of Drake kissing and fondling a 17-year-old female fan at a concert has surfaced on Twitter, sparking criticism and comparisons with R. Kelly.  A video posted last week by Twitter user The Spook God shows Drake inviting a fan from the audience onstage. The clip shows Drake dancing with the woman, then turning her to face away from him. As he stands behind her, he says into the mic: “I told you I like your hair, right? What is it, is it like Herbal Essences? It smells fresh.” Drake adjusts the woman’s T-shirt and kisses her on the back of her neck and ear. He then embraces her from behind, brushing his arms and hands against her breasts. Finally, he asks: “How old are you?” When the fan tells Drake she’s 17, people in the crowd start laughing and yelling. Drake, now 32, j...
